Torrance Adult School Career Technical Education Department offers Job training classes ranging from computer applications, business procedures, accounting, floral design/florist training, campus security training, principle of coaching, cosmetology and manicurist, pharmacy technician training and more.  These classes are designed to improve skills for those already employed, for unemployed students to gain skills that will help them qualify for jobs in the community, for seniors wishing to return to the workforce, for volunteers to provide services for non-profit, community and other organizations, and finally for students who simply want to gain further knowledge and skills.

Our Classes

Our computer classes are taught on PCs with Windows XP
If you are a Macintosh User, you are welcome to enroll, and you will find that there is not a great deal of difference in using the applications on a Mac or a PC.

You should expect that handouts will be based on Windows Operating systems and PCs.

Important Note:

We do not allow students to bring laptops into our classes because we have limited connections and space available.
